Policies

  • What is the guestroom cancellation policy?

    • Cancellations made at least 14 days before arrival will receive a full refund of the first night plus tax deposit.
    • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will not be granted a refund for the first night plus tax deposit.
  • What is included in the Amenity/Resort Fee?

    All guests pay a $30/night amenity fee which, includes:

    • Signature breakfast
    • Valet
    • Keepsake Water Bottles
    • Wireless Internet access
    • On-demand shuttle service throughout Sun Valley and Ketchum including Bald and Dollar Mountains
    • Airport shuttle
    • Ski storage and heated boot storage
    • Trail Mix and Chocolates at Check-Out
    • All-day Coffee Station
    • YMCA Day Passes
    • Tesla Connector, up to 80A
  • Do you require a deposit to hold my reservation?

    • Yes, first night plus tax will be charged at time of booking.
    • Remaining balance (if staying more than one night) will be charged 14 days before arrival unless otherwise noted. Once final payment is processed, it is non-refundable.
    • If staying during the holiday season (December 20 to January 3), full reservation value will be charged at time of booking.
    • Upon check-in, an authorization will be placed on your credit card for an additional $50 per night in anticipated incidental charges.
  • What is your pet fee?

    There is a $50 per two dogs per night fee. Our pet fee maxes out at $250 per stay. Please review our Wagging Tail Escape program to learn more.

 

General and Reservations

  • Is there a minimum age requirement to check-in?

    Yes, guests must be 21 years of age or older to check-in.

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am

  • What are the options for parking?

    We offer self-parking and complimentary valet.

  • Do you offer extra beds or cribs?

    Rollaway beds are available at an additional charge of $25 per night. Please contact us ahead of time to ensure your room can accommodate a rollaway bed and make a reservation as there are a limited number of these available. Pack ‘n Plays are available for children free of charge.

  • Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?

    Early check-in and late check-out are based on availability. Please make arrangements for early arrival or late check-out in advance. If we are unable to accommodate your request, your luggage can be stored for you.

  • What are the taxes and fees on my reservation?

    $30 amenity fee and 11% tax

  • Is smoking allowed on property?

    Our Ketchum, Idaho hotel is a non-smoking facility including outdoor room balconies.

  • Can I store my bags before I check-in or after I check-out?

    Yes, the front desk will hold them for you until you’re ready.

  • Can I have a package sent there before my arrival?

    Yes. For UPS and FedEx package please mail to 960 N Main St., Ketchum ID 83340.
    For USPS please mail to PO Box 1327, Ketchum ID 83340.

  • Does the hotel have ADA accessible rooms?

    Yes, we have one room type available. Please review our accessible room type and hotel features.

  • Do you sell gift certificates?

    Yes, we do! To purchase a gift certificate, please call 1.800.526.8010 to purchase your gift certificates.

  • What is your loyalty program?

  • How far is the hotel from the airport?

    It is a 25-minute scenic drive from the airport to Knob Hill Inn. We offer a shuttle service to and from the Sun Valley Airport. Call us at 1.800.526.8010 to schedule a pick-up or drop-off.

    Shuttle reservations will be scheduled no later than 48 hours in advance of arrival/departure to or from SUN. Guests shall provide flight information as well as how many people in their party. If any changes are made to their itinerary, they will need to contact Knob Hill front desk at least 48 hours before their scheduled shuttle time.

  • What are your current safety and health guidelines for hotel?

    The wellbeing of our team members and guests is of paramount importance for us here at Knob Hill Inn. Please review our health precautions to learn more.

Amenities

  • Do you offer room service? What are the hours?

    The Grill provides in-room dining from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. Please call extension “351” to place your order.
    A snack menu featuring small bites and treats is available daily to any time. Please dial “0” to place your order with guest reception.

  • Do you offer breakfast? What are the hours?

    Our signature breakfast is served daily in the Fireplace Room. Guests are welcome to dine with us from 7:30am to 10:00am. Please call our reception if you prefer to enjoy breakfast in bed, and we will be happy to bring up to your room.

  • Do you have a fitness center?

    We do not have an onsite fitness center; however, we can provide complimentary day passes to the YMCA will give you access to their indoor and outdoor saline pools and oversized hot tub, full fitness class schedule, cardio and weight training gym, squash court, sauna, eucalyptus steam room, locker room amenities, access to tennis courts (additional court usage fee applies), and member discounts on all spa and personal services. Our team will be happy to take care of these arrangements to make your Sun Valley experience even more relaxing and rejuvenating.

  • How much do you charge for high speed/Wi-Fi internet access?

    Wireless Internet access cost is included in our $30/night amenity fee.

  • I want flowers, chocolates, champagne, gifts sent to the guestroom, how can I do this?

    Yes, our guest reception is happy to help! Please call 800.526.8010.

  • Is there an airport shuttle service?

    Yes, transportation to the airport is included in our amenity fee and is available for hotel guests. Call us at 1.800.526.8010 to schedule a pick-up or drop-off.

  • Do you have a pool? If so, what are the hours?

    Yes, the pool, hot tub and sauna are available during the hours of 7:00am – 11:00pm.

  • Is there a courtesy shuttle service?

    Knob Hill Inn is happy to provide complimentary on-demand shuttle service to Sun Valley and Ketchum and Sun Valley locations from 7am to 11pm. The Mountain Rides town bus provides free scheduled transportation around the Ketchum and Sun Valley area. The bus stops in front of the Inn on Highway 75 (Main Street). Bus schedule is located at guest reception.

Pets

  • Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height, or types?

    Dogs are welcome as part of our Wagging Tail Escape program. Dog-friendly rooms are limited and, therefore subject to availability. Advance reservations are required. Guests traveling with their dog must call 800.526.8010 prior to booking to verify availability of a dog-friendly room to avoid the risk of not being able to check-in with your dog and/or incurring any associated cancellation penalties. Please note that there is a $50 per two dogs per night fee, a two dog maximum per room. Knob Hill Inn’s Pet Policy Agreement must be signed upon check in.

  • Do you have pet free rooms for those with allergies?

    Yes, please contact the property directly to ensure you are placed in a dog-free room.

  • Do you host meetings and events? If so, how can I book?

    Yes. We have event spaces that can accommodate 14 to 150 guests, and our stunning mountain setting is perfect for any special occasion. Request a proposal today for more information.

  • Do you offer laundry or dry cleaning?

    Yes, one day service is available Monday through Friday. Laundry bags must be left at guest reception by 9:00am and items will be returned by 6:00pm.

  • Where can we get ice?
